Terrazz' attitude !

For its first collection, the Milinane brand has created a pattern inspired by the very trendy "Terrazzo", declined on childcare accessories and linen. A design motif to decorate children's bedrooms and embellish childcare equipment. To be discovered without delay!

LA TERRAZZ' ATTITUDE: When the TERRAZZO invests the room

At a time when the very fashionable "Terrazzo" is raging in interior decoration and is becoming a very trendy reference, Miliane has been inspired by it to offer it on its range of childcare linen. Thus, the Terrazzo also finds its place in baby's world.

Beware, it is not the last trendy cocktail of the summer in beach bars ("A Terrazzo please!... and 2 straws!" ) but rather the trendy decoration of the moment, which should not be missed! The big Parisian houses such as Maison Plisson, Maison Kitsuné or Hermès, show us the way by adopting it.

THE ORIGIN OF INSPIRATION

Terrazzo, also known as "Granito", is a graphic and elegant material that is making a comeback in the world of architecture, design and decoration.

Example of an inspiring Terrazzo used in interior decoration

It has its origins in antiquity, in Italy. It made a passage in the 90's with the Memphis movement to come back today by inviting itself in shops, restaurants and even the trendiest decoration objects!

It is composed of natural stones and elements such as marble, granite, polished glass or metal. Its composition and manufacturing method make the Terrazzo an elegant and simple work of art! The result is always new, each Terrazzo is unique and it is impossible to obtain the same one twice. This is what makes it so beautiful and so desirable!

Here is a realization of my kitchen floor:

Combined with oak furniture and a white worktop, this floor gives the space a decidedly modern and decorative effect.

A TRENDY DECOR FOR MY BABY

Initially used as a floor covering, it became the inspiration of the moment. It is available in other formats (worktop, credenza, textile, ceramic...).

For Milinane's first collection, I wanted to create a pattern inspired by Granito with fresh and cheerful colours such as coral, rust and bluish grey.

Terrazzo in my kitchen

Our "Terrazzo" is thus available on stroller seats, cosy seats, bed linen, bedding, mats, high chair seats, baby lounger seats, blankets and nappies or even changing table covers.
