The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) came into force on 25 May 2018 for all companies operating within the European Union. The main aim of this data protection reform is to strengthen human rights. To protect Internet users from misuse of personal data, companies now have the obligation to keep them informed of all IT processing carried out from the collected data.

Like all e-merchants, we collect personal data when you place an order on our site. We work with a number of providers, so they have access to some of that data.

This data is essential to ensure the smooth running of your order.

Data storage of Milinane customers:

The servers of the Milinane website are at OVH, a French company specializing in cloud computing.

In their servers are our database necessary for the proper functioning of the site. Customer account information is stored there.

To allow you to retrieve your order history, this data is only deleted if you request it. If you wish to modify them, you can write to us at SARL MILINANE - 1400 Chemin des Plaideurs, 13090 Aix-en-Provence

All the data we collect stays with us and will never be given, rented or sold to a third party company. We do not rent files or exchange with other companies.

Passwords are stored “encrypted” and cannot be decrypted:

Together with our partner bank, the Caisse d'Epargne, we have implemented a payment solution that complies with current international standards to ensure the security of online transactions. We have also installed the 3DSecure standard that strengthens the authentication process during payment.

Banking data is entered on a secure page hosted by the bank, it does not pass through our site. This data is encrypted and cannot be detected, used or stored by third parties. What personal data does Milinane collect?

When you create a customer account on our site, we record in our systems all the necessary information to place order: your email, your name and first name, your mailing address and telephone number so that you can prepare and deliver your package.

These order data are transmitted to the various service providers involved in the delivery of your packages: our logistics provider who collects the packages and the carrier who delivers them to you.

They have absolutely no right to use your data for anything other than to process your order and must delete this data from their computer system after processing. However, if you choose to be delivered outside of Europe, your data, such as your postal address, are necessarily passed on to the logistics services of the carrier.

Registration for the newsletter:

If you have given us your agreement, we also use your email address to send you our newsletter and share our news and good plans with you. If you no longer want to receive these emails, you can unsubscribe at any time by clicking on the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of the newsletters. You are disengaged immediately.

The navigation data:

We place cookies on your computer for one simple reason: to best process your order. Cookies remember, the time of your visit, your identity and the contents of your basket. Once you have left our site, this information is stored for 30 days and then permanently deleted. You can also delete cookies from your web browser.

Like most online merchants, we may have to record your visits and then post advertisements when you browse other websites. Well, we’re not doing it yet, but if we get started, you should know that this process does not manipulate any personal data and that it does not involve your personal data.

The modification of the data:

You can modify your information directly from your customer area on our website.

If you do not find what you want, write to contact@milinane.com and we will answer you!

Change of Privacy Policy:

Milinane may amend or update this Privacy Policy at any time in accordance with legal changes that occur over time and that are intended to protect the user.
