Departure on a trip with baby

Travelling with baby requires you to think of taking everything, namely: the cot, stroller and/or cosi, the big baby suitcase and all the childcare accessories you need to travel!

Goodbye overloaded car trunk as we go on holiday with our super baby traveller. Having experienced this wonderful organization (worthy of an airport suitcase carpet hub) here is a small synthesis of the tricks to simplify this ephemeral life of a small nomad.

THE REALITY OF A (REAL) DEPARTURE

When preparing the luggage, it is a question of making a cross on a certain number of clothes, shoes or other accessories of his own suitcase to make room for the many things of our dear angel who measures just over 60cm... Yes yes! It takes space (and arms!) to carry the cot, sheets and sleeping bag, cosi, deckchair, play mat, big bag of small clothes (where we obviously doubled the number of short-sleeved and long-sleeved bodies) and of course his toilet bag (worthy of a prepared bimbo) with everything you need for small emergencies. Our baby traveller is not yet ready for a trek in the high mountains but he is rather ready for a pleasant journey in 1st class! In short, an oversized checklist and a great logistics!

CHECKLIST OF THE PERFECT BABY TRAVELLER: "HEAVY" EQUIPMENT

But as we live in a beautiful time, the art of travelling with baby has become a little less complicated. I explain myself and detail the list of clever childcare accessories to ensure an optimized trip.

- The traditional "bulky and heavy-bedded umbrella" is transformed into a simple suitcase thanks to Babybjörn. The brand has adopted the concept of the tent, which can be set up in 2 seconds to reinvent the very comfortable nomadic baby bed.

- Still from Babybjörn, we are equipped with the super deckchair which folds flat and can be easily stored in a well-filled car boot. The must is to dress her in a Milinane deckchair cover. The latter remains firmly fixed on the deckchair (even when folded!) thanks to its fixing system which makes it immutable.

- The Yoyo stroller from Babyzen's. In addition to being ultra-light, it folds up and stores in a small bag that you carry on your shoulder.

CHECKLIST OF THE PERFECT BABY TRAVELLER: THE "LIGHT" EQUIPMENT

- Milinane's cotton muslin stroller cushion also becomes an ally for travel. Our baby spending an infinite amount of time there is better if he feels like a rooster in paste! This seat cushion remains perfectly installed even if your stroller is folded! The latter serving as places for naps, snacks and meals, as much as it can be easily washed and dried!

- A homemade nugget for travel is Milinane's nomadic blanket, which can be duplicative. During the day used as a blanket in the YOYO stroller, it turns into an extra sleeping bag for the night in bed. Its thickness and breathable material guarantee gentle heat and peaceful nights for our little one.

- It is with the fantastic swaddling clothes that my list ends. I will not remind you of the many uses imagined for these nappies (see my previous article) but only specify that they serve as a supplementary sheet and/or protective cover for the nappy.

Okay, let's be clear. It may be a little late for some of you to completely rethink the ideal childcare equipment. But nothing prevents you from equipping yourself with Milinane's essentials to perfect the trousseau of our little travellers  !
